100 Million Biometric Data Has Been Successfully Validated

Biometric Identity Verification System, developed by Ones Technology and brought into use by the Social Security Institution to prevent abuses and irregularities in health sector, successfully verified 100 million biometric data.

The execution of the system was suspended by the Council of State on 11.09.2014. However, the system was restarted on 15.05.2015 following the annulment of the Supreme Court’s decision for suspension of the execution. On 24.06.2015, the system verified 100 millionth biometric identity.

The biometric authentication system operating with 99.999% uptime for about 3.5 years, is one of the largest biometric authentication systems in the world, with the number of verified citizens increasing day by day.
