The Palm Vein Based Biometric Authentication System implemented by the Social Security Institution in 2012 and developed by Ones Technology, made its 100 millionth authentication on June 24, 2015. The Palm Vein Based Biometric Authentication System has also performed the 250 millionth biometric authentication process as of today.

Since the system was put into practice, unrecorded operations costed hundreds of millions of Turkish liras have been prevented.
