How It Works

BioAffix® Gate Vision Mobile utilizes Intel RealSense® depth sensing and AI-assisted facial recognition to perform on-device identity verification. This enables a fast, accurate, and spoof-resistant experience. Each user’s 3D facial template is stored under their control via an encrypted code called Bio QR. When necessary, data from ICAO 9303 documents—such as passports or national ID cards—can also be used for authentication.

Authentication Methods

On-Card Biometric Template

Stores the user’s biometric template on high-frequency cards such as HID SEOS, Legic, Mifare Desfire, Cipurse. The device reads the template directly from the card and efficiently completes the facial recognition process.

Mobile App or Wallet-Based Biometric Template

Users store their biometric data in the digital wallet application on their smartphones or similar devices. BioAffix® Gate Vision Mobile retrieves the template from the mobile device and performs facial recognition either offline or online.

QR-Based Biometric Template (Bio QR)

Stores biometric data in an encrypted QR code. By scanning this code, the device authenticates the user without any need for central-server data storage.

ICAO 9303 Document Authentication

Reads biometric data from government-issued documents such as e-IDs and passports. The facial recognition process prevents identity fraud while ensuring high-level security.
